The spring and summer Armani Junior Newborn collection features classic styles with modern lines and shapes, and a special focus on soft, comfortable fabrics.
The selection dedicated to Baptisms is the stuff of dreams, little dresses in subdued, delicate hues, especially champagne and pink, brightened by a golden cabochon in the shape of the iconic eagle logo. The precious materials of the collection underline the singularity of the pieces, designed for one of life’s most important days.
The selection for everyday is wide-ranging: little dresses and rompers in satin and viscose jersey with dickeys and little pin-tucks, topped with satin-edged shrugs. The summer pieces are fresh and pure in cutwork muslin reminiscent of broderie anglaise, with a contrasting lining in apple green or powder pink. Among the new looks are flower print dresses with viscose jersey tops and plissé miniskirts.
There is also a strong focus on accessories, including baby bottles, bibs, little shoes and nursery bags, all designed to match the clothing. The line dedicated to baby boys features sailor-style white linen rompers with blue and white striped faux gilets. All of the pieces feature the eagle logo embroidered in navy blue.
The big news for the line is the use of double material: the sporty rompers, for example, are in chambray and cotton jersey, while the double-collar polos have shirting and textured chambray details. The collection is rounded off with everyday pieces in cotton jersey and piqué, featuring trompe-l’oeil prints and inserts imitating braces.
The line also includes bodysuits and bibs, in a new bandana shape, perfect for mealtime and going out for walks.
